If hospitality had a gold standard, a ribbon, and a crown, ANGELA would be wearing all three before breakfast.


From the moment you arrive, you are not just a guest, you are looked after. Angela runs this house with warmth, grace, and a level of attentiveness that feels rare and genuinely human. She is accommodating in ways that make you exhale. You feel safe, welcomed, and completely at ease under her care.


And then there is the food. Let me be perfectly clear: Angela is the best cook in town. Not “very good for a B&B” good. Not “surprisingly good” good. Just flat-out, top-tier, remember-it-forever good. Every breakfast meal feels thoughtful, beautifully prepared, and made with pride. It is the kind of breakfast that recalibrates your expectations for the rest of the day.


Angela’s kindness, professionalism, and presence elevate the entire experience of the Judge Porter House. She embodies what this place stands for, and honestly, she is the reason you want to come back. Whatever her official title may be, she carries the role of heart, soul, and steady hand of this home with excellence.


She deserves recognition, appreciation, and yes, a raise.


A 10 out of 10 does not do her justice. This is a 1,000 out of 10 stay, entirely because of Angela.


If you are considering staying here, do not hesitate. You will leave better fed, better rested, and genuinely grateful you crossed paths with her.
