Built in 1912, this inn features 33 windows and original heart pine floors. For families or friends traveling together, the Princess and New Orleans rooms are ideal because they share the entire second floor and a common parlor—creating a perfect semi-private gathering space.

The Queen Anne is a winner of the Go Natchitoches Award for Excellence in Lodging. It’s perfect for groups booking together; the Queen Anne and Garden rooms are next to each other on the second floor, and both feature private entrances to the balcony gallery for easy visiting.

As our only property directly on Cane River Lake, Violet Hill offers a private boat dock and riverfront patio. It is home to two of our most spacious accommodations: • The Prince Haithcoat Suite: A luxurious downstairs retreat featuring a separate bedroom with a Queen bed and a living room with a dedicated dining area. The private bath includes a two-person Jacuzzi and shower. This suite offers ultimate convenience with a refrigerator, microwave, and HDTVs in both the living room and bedroom. Guests can enter via the main interior hallway or use the private exterior entrance. (Please note: this suite does not have a full kitchen). • The Puckett Suite: An upstairs suite that accommodates up to four guests, featuring a separate bedroom and a living room with a queen sleeper sofa, refrigerator, microwave, and dual HDTVs. • Note for John Reavls Guests: While this room features a unique private entrance directly to the rear covered gallery, please be aware the gallery remains a common space for all guests to enjoy the lake views.

This 1855 Antebellum cottage is in the heart of downtown and is our premier location for groups of 4 to 6 people traveling together. • The Tucker Suite: Designed for up to four guests, featuring two beautiful canopy beds in two separate bedrooms. • The Ragan Suite: A spacious upstairs suite with a King bed, a mini-fridge, and a cozy living area with a couch and wingback chair. It features a private bath with a two-person Jacuzzi and shower. • Group Stays (Sleeps 6): For larger groups of family or friends, the Ragan Suite and the Tucker Suite can be booked together to accommodate up to six guests, providing the entire upstairs of the inn as a private retreat for your party.
