Exceptional Experience - Will Come Back

An exceptional B&B right in the Cane River lake - with a lovely pier to sit and relax. I had the Stem Wheeler room - really spacious, with a sitting room and large bathroom. Would recommend without reservation. I will come back. They do everything to make it comfortable - beverage table for tea in hall and in room, bottled water provided, and plenty of places to sit - parlor, wide open porches in the front and back. Ms. Zeffie cooks a fabulous breakfast and serves in the gorgeous dining room. She is a delight and a gracious hostess.

Parking is close to back door and plentiful.

Stairwell to upper floor is authentic (read: narrow and steep) so downstairs rooms would be preferred.

Overall - most beautiful and best maintained B&B I’ve seen, inside and out. Just amazing and to get to stay here is luxurious.

The Stem Wheeler is a first floor guest room and was originally the dining room of the home.  It is our most spacious room with its bank of three large windows. The bedroom is furnished with a King-sized bed.   For relaxing you have a sitting area with two oversized club chairs.

The Stem Wheeler has a large bath with a double vanity and hand painted Italian sinks, walk in separate shower and an antique claw foot tub.
